In short: this website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. The contact form goes through Azure to our mailbox.

Who we are

This website belongs to de Wit Automatisering B.V., based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 82248508. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@dewit-automatisering.nl.

What this website does

  • No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no trackers.
  • One form: the intake contact form, only if you fill it in yourself (see below).
  • No third-party content: fonts and images are served from our own domain.
  • If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser remembers that choice (in localStorage). It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Hosting

The website runs on Microsoft Azure (Static Web Apps, behind Azure Front Door). To deliver and protect the site, Microsoft processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use this data to track or profile visitors.

If you use the contact form

The form sends us your name, email address, organisation and phone number (if you fill them in), the topic and your message. It travels through a function in Azure Static Web Apps and Azure Communication Services (data stored in Europe) to our mailbox in Microsoft 365. The website itself stores nothing. To prevent abuse we limit the number of messages per IP address; for that, the address is only kept briefly in memory. We use your details to respond to your request (legal basis: your request for contact) and keep them like our other correspondence.

If you email us

If you send us an email, we use your name, email address and what you write to answer your question and, if it leads to an engagement, to carry it out. Our email runs on Microsoft 365. We keep correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose, and business records for as long as the law requires (usually seven years).

Your rights

You can ask us which data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to processing. Email info@dewit-automatisering.nl to do so. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
